RRMS 2024 Spring Track & Field Interest Form 
Our spring track & field season will get started right after Spring Break.  All students who are interested in participating must complete this form along with these additional requirements:

If you participated in fall cross country - you need to complete this form and the FCPS middle school sports registration form.

If you did not participate in fall cross country - you need to complete:
The deadline for submitting all forms is Friday, March 22.  This is a hard deadline - no forms will be accepted after that date.

Did your student participate in Rocky Run's cross country program this past fall?   *
We will host an interest meeting in the lecture hall during lunches periods on 1/18.  It is very important that all students who are interested in spring track attend this meeting.  You should bring your lunch to the lecture hall during your lunch period.  Are you available to attend the interest meeting on 1/18?  If you cannot attend, the slides will be available on the After-School Schoology Course for students and families to view as of 1/19. *
All participants must attend 2 practices prior to the first meet.   *
All participants must attend 2 practices per week to compete in that Saturday's meet.  Practices are tentatively scheduled for Mondays and Wednesdays from 2:30 - 3:15; however, this may change based on the availability of our coaching staff. *
Students must be on time to practices and ready to start by 2:30, try their best in practices, and remain in good standing during the school day and after-school (academic and behavior) to remain on the team. *
FCPS MS track & field meets are scheduled for 4/13, 4/20, 4/27, 5/4, and 5/11.  We will only be running on 4 of these dates, but those are not yet confirmed.  Students must ride the bus to and from each meet.  Times are approximate, but students will most likely need to be at Rocky Run around 6:30 am and will return to Rocky Run around 1:30 pm.  Families are encouraged to come watch the meets!  Please note in the next section if you have any conflicts with any of those meet dates. *
