Signature gathering is often difficult because you get poor results for time spent.  However, there are a few times a year where you can get incredible return on your time.

The best time to petition is on election day at a polling location.  Everyone going there is a registered voter, who is already willing to sacrifice time out of their day to take political action.  Instead of getting 12 signatures a day, you can get hundreds.

However, there are many, many polling locations, and only a couple of elections before the end of 2023 (when we plan to turn in petitions).  So, the plan is to organize a large group to participate in petitioning on just the days of the next few major elections.

Here's the ask: we want you to take as much time as you can and petition outside polling places on those days.  Preferably, that means taking off work and working in pairs of 2 per polling place to really get it done.

This form is to collect information to organize this.  We will make sure that you have petitions and training, plus we'll also help locate the most active polling place near you.

Any information given on this form will only be used for the purpose of this petition drive, unless you give permission for its use.  If you consent to it (final question on the form), it will be shared with the LPO.

And above all else, thank you.  Every signature that we don't get by volunteers, we have to pay to have gathered, at around $4 a signature.  A day at a polling place is one of the highest value donations you can give to the party, and it is one that we sorely need.
