Alvin Summer Teen Volunteer Application
Application due by April 15th.
Interviews will be scheduled in May. During the interview, you may be given a brief written shelving test. After the interviews, you will be notified by phone or email if you have been selected as a Summer Teen Volunteer. Training will take place in May. There will be at least two training sessions, including one Saturday session.
Volunteer Tasks:
1. Assist Patrons:
- Update patron accounts in Beanstack
- Update Reading Logs in Beanstack
- Hand Out Prizes
2. Craft Preparation and Assembly:
- Follow directions from supervisor
3. Event Assistance
- Counting attendees
- Event set up and clean up
4. Library Appearance:
- Shelving/Shelf Reading (As Assigned)
- Basic Tidying
- Library Tour
5. Other duties as assigned
