HAH Apple Glean 2022
Date: October 22, 2022
Time: 10:00 AM start time

Join Harvest Against Hunger and our partners (and graduated Harvest VISTA site!) with the Community Harvest program at Upper Valley MEND on Saturday, October 22nd to help pick apples in a Cashmere, WA orchard. Our goal is to pick more than 18,000 pounds of apples in one day!

We're inviting Rotarians, Rotaract and Interact members from Rotary Districts 5030 and 5060 to join forces to help us get these healthy apples harvested and into local hunger relief organizations.

The work party will begin with training in the orchard promptly at 10:0 AM, and will end at 12:30 or 1:00 PM. Please bring appropriate clothing for the weather, including a hat, raincoat and gloves. Also, be sure to bring at least one full bottle of water.

The orchard is just to the north of downtown Cashmere, and parking is at the Wee Bee Kids parking lot on the corner of Wohlers Road and Ringsrud Lane.
