BIT Sindri is commemorating its Platinum Jubilee in the year 2024. The institute has produced many stalwarts during these 75 years. The contributions of BIT Sindri Alumni are second to none. 

This form seeks nominations for the best of the best to pick the most deserving representatives. The select committee will choose three groups of 75 each from all the nominations received. These groups will represent The Great BITians - Veterans, The Great BITians - Achievers, and The Great BITians - Rising Stars. 

The form will remain open till 31st May 2024. Any alumni can nominate themselves or anyone else.

The form collects four sets of information under the respective sections. These are 

- the details of the nominating alumnus

- the details of the nominated alumnus

- the common details of the nominated alumnus

- the specific details of the nominated alumnus (only one of the sections from all the available sections will be applicable based on the category chosen)

There are ten categories. While nominating, the alumnus will choose the most appropriate category for the nominated alumnus. The form maps specific criteria for each of these categories. The nominating alumnus will provide information against those criteria. Some of the information required are mandatory, and some are optional.

After closing the nomination, the select panel (to be formed later comprising professors from the institute and alumni) will scrutinize and evaluate the nominations to pick the best 75 for each of the three groups mentioned earlier. The next step will be to create a directory. The details provided during the nomination will be handy for that. Therefore, kindly provide as much information during nominations as possible. Additionally, for some additional or missing information, the team will seek help from the selected or the nominating alumnus.
