Thank you for your interest in being a Science.Art.Wonder (SAW) Artist. SAW uniquely provides you with an alternative art experience, involving you in research education while showcasing your art across Atlanta. We are an Atlanta-wide initiative centered at Georgia Tech & Emory that creates research-inspired art and innovates how we teach others about research.
SAW is having its 5th year at GT, and we would like you to join us in promoting research-inspired art! Every year, we gather artists and researchers to match them and create amazing pieces of artwork to display in our showcases.
We will use your responses to this form to match you with a researcher whose interests resemble your own. After receiving your match and agreeing to be a SAW Artist, you and your researcher will come together and create a work of art with a rich and compelling research-inspired story to tell.
As a SAW Artist, you will then exhibit your artwork across different on-campus and off-campus events, concluding the year with a major exhibit at the Atlanta Science Festival which is held every Spring and our very own On-Campus Showcase.
