The Women of Peace Corps Legacy's mission is to bring the diverse women of the Peace Corps together to serve communities and create a better world for future generations. One avenue in which we celebrate our mission is through the Deborah Harding Women of Achievement Award.

The Deborah Harding Award honors a Peace Corps woman whose contributions have made a significant difference in the lives of women and girls in the world.

The awards committee will be made up of judges determined by the Women of Peace Corps Legacy Board. All nominees will be evaluated against other candidate submissions. Applications will be reviewed for the unique and significant contributions of the nominees, scope or reach of their work, and their impact on women and girls.

The winner will receive a commemorative award and a small monetary prize to be used for a project of her choice. The award is usually presented at the National Peace Corps Association Connect in the fall.  Nominations are due June 15, 2022.
