The award was created to honour the memory of John Prince. John was a pillar of spirit and volunteerism in the Essa hockey community. To deserve consideration for the John Prince Memorial Award the candidate must be a member of the EMHA and in good standing. The candidate must have volunteered their time and/or held an active role, such as bench staff, executive member, manager, on-ice helper, etc. This award is intended to recognize an EMHA member who continuously demonstrated outstanding voluntary contribution and commitment throughout the 2023/2024 hockey season. Deadline for nominees will be on Thursday, March 28th. Nominees will be announced and voted on at the Banquet on Wednesday, April 3rd. The Award Winner will be announced at the AGM on Wednesday, April 10th.
