Dear Students, Staff, Parents and the wider Prem Family,
The Prem Academy of Music is opening its doors again for individual and group instrumental and vocal lessons. For those of you already learning an instrument in school, your lessons will continue from last year and we will contact you directly about your lesson timings. We are also preparing for both face to face lessons and online video lessons. More information to follow regarding online lessons.
If you are new to the school or have already been here for a while and are looking for a new challenge, learning to play a musical instrument or sing is a great way to broaden and enrich your wider Prem School life. Music lessons are available to all, whatever you age, ability or musical interest from classical through to rock, pop and jazz. It is open for those who wish to have fun learning an instrument as well as those who already have a passion for music and wish to take their instrumental or vocal lessons in preparing for music performances and/or music examinations. Universities absolutely love musicians, even if you are not aiming to study music at University.
Lessons are offered on a rotation basis throughout the school day. A regular lesson lasts for 30 minutes and charged at 600 baht per person. However, younger students and perhaps absolute beginners, may wish to share a lesson with a friend as it is a fun way to start your musical journey. If you share a 30-minute lesson with a friend the cost of the lesson will be less per person.
All instruments are available in all musical styles. Once again, this year, we are fortunate in attracting high calibre specialist visiting music teaching staff, all of whom have completed enhanced Criminal Background Checks and received Child Protection Training.
If you would like to receive more information about the Prem Music Academy Program and individual/group music lessons, please complete the questionnaire below and we will be in contact with you to set up your very first lesson. Parents are warmly welcomed to sit in on private music lessons as this will significantly help with strengthening the daily practice routine between each lesson.
