Nicole Naditz, 2015 ACTFL National Language Teacher of the Year

Join Nicole Naditz (2015 ACTFL National Language Teacher of the Year) in two sessions focusing on student engagement, with particular emphasis on strategies to maximize engagement during distance learning. Many of these strategies are easily adapted to in-person contexts, making them equally useful when your programs return to brick-and-mortar settings.

-The first session will explore engagement strategies that are designed to ensure that learners are the ones doing the active work of learning as they interact with you, each other, and the content (including authentic texts) in meaningful ways.
-The second session will focus more heavily on specific strategies for engaging learners in the interpersonal mode.
