Awesöme Orchestra Session 76: Outdoor Big Band and Wind Ensemble Session
*MUSICIAN SIGN-UPS ARE NOW CLOSED*

WHEN: Sunday, September 19, 2021, 2–5pm

WHERE: YMTC's outdoor stage @ Aquatic Park, 2925 Bolivar Dr.., Berkeley, CA
The space is located at the south end of Aquatic Park on YMTC's campus. If you're driving, it is very important to use Google Maps to navigate there, as Apple Maps and other programs will often send you to the north end of the park, which does not provide access to the venue.

(Our back up location is Sports Basement (same date & time) in the case of inclement weather or if AQI is above 100. We’ll notify all players and audience members 24-48 hours before if we need to change venues. If COVID numbers pose a dangerous risk, we'll postpone or cancel altogether)

COST: Free for musicians and audience (Please note that musicians are capped at 70 players total and MUST sign-up to participate. Similarly, there is a limit of 30 total audience members, who must also RSVP to attend)

TRANSPORTATION SUGGESTIONS: There are multiple bus routes that drop off just a 5-10 minute walk from the venue (AC Transit 57, 36, or 29 lines and the Emeryville Go-Round Shellmound/Powell or Hollis lines). The area is next to a public park and safe to walk through, though we recommend reaching out to other players on our discord server to set up a walking group or carpool! (https://discord.com/invite/UvCFQTsZrA)

There will be free parking just across from the venue on the access road. Your section's ambassador will email out a parking permit the week before that you can print at home and display on your dashboard.

COVID SAFETY PROTOCOLS: Safety is our top priority!
*** Please note that proof of vaccination against COVID-19 is required to attend this session. ***
Awesöme Orchestra staff will ask you to present this proof before entering the outdoor venue. California residents may get a digital copy of their vaccine record at: https://myvaccinerecord.cdph.ca.gov/

This is an outdoor session. All attendees will be REQUIRED to wear face masks when not actively playing their instrument or drinking.

We will be slightly more spread out than normal, but we won’t be keeping six feet between players. Musicians are welcome to sit one player per stand if they wish.

**IMPORTANT**
If you are feeling ill, or you’re taking care of someone who is sick, we ask that you not attend this session. Deciding to sit this one out for health or safety reasons is entirely your call and we look forward to having you join us at a session in the future.
