Practice fields will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis.
For 2023, TUC is offering Touring Teams practice fields for the summer. Teams will be required to cover the cost of the permit for the duration of the permit. We are finalizing a model whereby if, for example, TOURING teams host a TUC Clinic on their allocated field, they will be reimbursed for the field cost that day. More details will be released by TUC leadership the Week of April 24th pertaining to volunteer opportunities
As of 17 April 2023, the anticipated permit start date is the week starting May 15th (16 week summer season).
Below is a listing of the costs for each vendor and field type to help inform any decisions your leadership team needs to make. The cost listed is for the FULL field.
TCDSB Permits (14 week season for TCDSB Permits - Starting May 23rd):
- TCDSB Grass Field Permits: ~$36.00 (tax included) per 2-hour booking. Estimated cost for 14 weeks is ~$497 (tax included)
- TCDSB High Performance (Grass) Field Permits (Senator O'Connor): ~$122.00 (tax included) per 2-hour booking. Estimated cost for 14 weeks is ~$1699 (tax included)
TDSB Permits (15 or 16 week season for TDSB Permits depending on holiday exclusions):
- TDSB Grass Field Permits: ~$49.00 (tax included) per 2-hour booking. Estimated cost for 16 weeks is ~$792 (tax included)
- TDSB Primary School Turf Field Permits (Deer Park): ~$205.00 (tax included) per 2-hour booking. Estimate cost for 16 weeks is ~$3,081 (tax included)
- TDSB High School Turf Field Permits (North Toronto CI): ~$410.00 (tax included) per 2-hour booking. Estimated cost for 16 weeks is ~$6,545 (tax included)
City of Toronto Permits:
- City Stadium Permits (ex. Lamport, Birchmount): $552.91 (tax included) per 2-hour booking for the whole field; $276.46 (tax included) per 2-hour booking for 1/2 of the field. Estimated cost for 16 weeks is ~$7,187.83 (tax included) for the whole field or $3,593.92 (tax included) for 1/2 of the field.
- City Premier Permits (ex. Fergie Brown, Eglinton Flats, Sunnybrook, Cherry Beach): ~$138 (tax included) per 2-hour booking. Estimated cost for 16 weeks is ~$2,202 (taxes included)
- City Grass (A) Field Permits (ex. Crestwood, NY Civic Soccer): ~$86.00 (tax included) per 2-hour booking. Estimated cost for 16 weeks is ~$1,280 (taxes included)

MONARCH PARK - SUMMER AVAILABILITY
- There may be some availability at Monarch Park this summer depending on how many teams register for our Summer East Leagues. $313 (tax included) per 2-hour booking for 1/2 of the field. Estimated cost for 1/2 a field for 16 weeks is ~$5,008. Potential timeslots are:
- Monday: 9pm - 11pm
- Tuesday: 9pm - 11pm
- Thursday: 9pm - 11pm
We anticipate Field Permits to begin the week of 15 May 2023.
Permit times are between 6:30 pm-8:30 pm.
Some permits, particularly stadium fields (Lamport, Monarch, Birchmount), are between 7:00 pm-9:00 pm and 9:00 pm-11:00 pm.
If there are multiple requests for the same fields and timeslots, we will run a lottery to allocate the field.
Please note, that if league registrations are higher than anticipated, permits may be pulled back to ensure leagues are scheduled. We will work with teams to ensure practice field requests are accommodated.
