Summer Community Works - Due May 10
In mid-May, Community Works will begin rehearsing the next round of skits. Skits that have already been rehearsed will still be called on to be performed this summer and beyond. Young actors can be in more than one skit, as long as they continue to be ready to perform either skit for an event. We want to have several skits ready to perform at anytime and be able to rotate skits or select the skits that best fits the event. If your young actor is interested in participating in the next round of skits and rehearsals, please answer the following questions. Please plan on a minimum of 6 weeks of rehearsal but note that rehearsals may last longer than 6 weeks if the actors are struggling with the material.  Please respond by May 10 so we know how many are interested and can make script decisions.

Two of the skits that we will begin working on will rehearse on Mondays and Tuesdays from 5-6 with a dress rehearsal/parent performance on Saturday, June 22 from 8-10:30. These will be performed at the Botanical Gardens on June 23 from 1-3 and at ArtFest, July 20 from 1-2. These may require one-two songs. Is your young actor interested and available for these skits? *
Summer Program
We will try to work with the summer classes and summer production to arrange rehearsals but it may not be possible to do both. In that case, the student will be more than welcome to join the Community Works Troupe with the next round of skits in the Fall after the end of the Summer production. If they are in one of the skits already rehearsed, they will still be able to perform at events throughout the summer. Please answer the following questions in regards to the young actor's participation this summer.
