Please complete this registration form if you would like your child dismissed in carpool. This form only needs to be completed if your child will go to carpool in the afternoon.

Wellwood's carpool runs in our parking lot by the playground. Cars must make a right turn into the parking lot to enter the carpool line, coming down Smith Avenue from Pikesville High. Cars must make a right hand turn out of the parking lot after picking up their child. Cars will not be permitted to make a left hand turn as this delays the carpool line.

Students will not be dismissed through carpool until they have received their carpool tag. Therefore, all carpool students will be dismissed from the back door of their classroom on their first day in the building. On the first day of school, parents are expected to pick up their child at the outside classroom door. Teachers will post their name and room number in the window by the door.

All carpool drivers must show their carpool tag each day, this ensures the safety of your child and helps to keep our carpool line moving. Carpool tags can be hung on the rearview mirror or placed on the dash for a Wellwood staff member to see.  If a family comes through carpool without a carpool tag they may be asked to park their car and pick up their child by reporting to the front of the school building and speaking to someone in the office.

All visitors over the age of 2 must wear a mask when on school grounds, this includes while going through the carpool line.

Families will receive 2 tags after registering and replacements tags can be supplied by emailing Mrs. Delis at ldelis@bcps.org.
