Spring Party 2024 - Volunteer Application
Thank you for your support of Royal Family KIDS!

Volunteer application deadline: March 31, 2024

This is an application to serve as a volunteer at our Spring Party. Please understand that while we are immensely grateful and humbled that you would consider serving with us, for the safety of the children entrusted to us and the success of the Royal Family team as a whole, we may not be able to accept every person who applies to serve. We will review your submission and get in touch with you within a week of receiving your submission. Be checking your inbox (including your spam folder) for an email from For The Children | Royal Family KIDS Camp!

When: Saturday April 13, 2024 - 10am - 2:30pm. This includes a 1 hour training beforehand, MANDATORY for all volunteers who wish to serve during the party. Should you be able to bless us with extra help, we'd love to have you at:

SETUP: Friday, 4/12 5:30PM - 7:30PM (we'll bring the pizzas!)
TEAR DOWN: Saturday, 4/13 ~2:30PM (once all children have left the building)

Where: Longview, WA ... For our kiddos' safety, the location will only be disclosed to those who attend.

What: Our Spring Party will include:
  • lunch for children and volunteers when party begins at 11:30AM
  • story time
  • basketball
  • dance
  • volleyball

Who can serve: All who have a heart for serving children are welcome to apply. We can consider very, very mature 15 - 17-year-olds as volunteers but unfortunately no volunteers under the age of 15 may serve during the holiday party itself. They are welcome to join us for setup or tear down, however!

Who we serve: Children who are currently in, or have been in, foster or kinship care and who are currently between the ages of 7 and 11-years-old.  [Headcount: 20 - 30 children]

All applicants desiring to serve DURING THE HOLIDAY PARTY will be required to:

* complete this application
* pass a background check (within the last 12 months)
* commit to the entire party (10AM - 2:30PM)

Our other holiday parties this year will take place:
  - Pre-Camp Meet & Greet: Sat, July 13th (tentatively)

Thank you for joining us in blessing the youth in foster care in our community!

What TO BRING .... and NOT to bring
What to bring:
  • Your ID if this was our first time running a background check on you

  • Reusable travel mug (for coffee or tea)
  • Reusable water bottle (for breakfast and to keep on you all morning)
