LEAGUE RULES
  • The league follows the USAPA rules.
  • Court assignments will be emailed out and announced prior to play.
  • Check-in 15 minutes prior to play.
  • Play begins with a flip of a coin. The winning team decides to serve or choose the court side. Note: the tall fence does not necessarily serve first in league play.
  • Each game will be played to 11 (win by 2).
  • Switch sides when either team has 6 points.
  • Each team is allowed a one-minute time-out per game.
  • When only one court is left playing, a horn will sound. This game will continue until a team is ahead by 2 points or when a team reaches 15 points, even if only ahead by 1 point. All teams may finish the fifth game of a league night (play to 11, win by 2).
  • The winning team moves up a court and splits, and the losing team moves down a court and splits.
  • Attempt to play with someone who hasn’t yet been your partner if possible. Use a coin flip to determine new partners. After the fifth game, all players will fill out the game results on the clipboard.
  • Players are responsible for finding their own subs at their play level, preferably club members. A sub list will be provided to league players. If you are having trouble finding a sub, contact Katie.
  • If you are a sub you MUST write the court for the player your are subbing and write your name in as the sub.
  • Player stats will be the average court you end up. Sub courts will not be used in player stats.

RAIN-OUT
  • An email will go out at least one hour before play IF we are going to be rained out.
  • If it starts raining during play, the last finished game will be recorded and used for the next week.
