Capital Pride Youth Committee - Application Form
Details:

The purpose of the CPYC will be to provide insight, advice and guidance for the development and implementation of Board policies and decisions specifically affecting 2SLGBTQ+ youth. The CPYC may also counsel the Executive Director in their event planning process and implementation to better serve the community, as well as plan youth events in collaboration with the Capital Pride Operations Team.

This opportunity will provide you with a space to develop your own ideas and the platform to support Capital Pride achieve its mission of advocacy and education to the public. This opportunity will allow you to acquire relevant skills while also providing you with meaningful engagement within your community. High school and university volunteer hours will be signed off.

Change for round-trip transportation by bus (for those who don't have a monthly pass) will be covered once in-person meetings resume; meetings will be held online for the foreseeable future.  

Criteria:

Be at least 13 years old and at most 25 years old; and
Live in the National Capital Region (Ottawa-Gatineau).

Deadline:

To be considered, applicants must complete and submit the form no later than May 22, 2021, at 11:59pm.

Interviews will be held via Google Meet on May 29, 2021.
