ASU Universal Learner Program Registration
In partnership with ASU, Graduation Solutions and Smart Schools are offering students the opportunity to earn concurrent enrollment college courses through ASU's Universal Learner Program.  Upon receiving this completed form, our Next Step Counseling Department will enroll you (at no cost) into ASU's program.  Students under the age of 18 must also have a parent/guardian complete this form (contact your mentor with any concerns.)  Thank you for completing this form fully as the information will be used for your registration.

The ASU Universal Learner Program has benefits that make it a perfect fit for Grad Solutions and Smart Schools students.  You register through us and do not need to pay the up-front $25 enrollment fee.   If you pass the course (on time) with a C or better, and are pleased with your grade, you can choose to make the course official on your ASU transcript.  We will pay the $400 transcription fee for you!  You are responsible for requesting records be sent to us to receive high school credit as well as college credit.  *Grad Solutions will pay the $400 at the time of completion for actively enrolled students only, who are maintaining adequate progress in their Edgenuity courses each month.
IMPORTANT:  This college course, if you choose to make the credit official, will be a part of your permanent college record.  Your grade will affect your future college GPA and possibly scholarship and financial aid packages.  Please proceed with caution.  
Concurrent Enrollment is recommended for students in strong academic standing who are at a Junior/Senior level of credits in high school.  College courses are more rigorous than high school courses.  Each course requires roughly 135 hours of total work.  
No grades lower than a C will be funded by Graduation Solutions / Smart Schools for transcription.

Courses are available through the program at different paces / formats.  Not all courses are available as self-paced.  When you register for a course,  you are completely responsible to keep pace and finish your course on time.  These are college courses and there is not an option to extend your time.  Each 3 credit hour course equates to roughly 135 hours of total work.  The following breakdown of hours shows how many hours of work to expect for a 4 credit (180 hour) Lab Science course.
8 week courses : 22.5 hours of work per week
16 week courses : 11.25 hours of work per week
