The City of Cupertino would like to reduce the unnecessary use of single-use disposable plastic food service ware by restaurants and other food facilities. Examples of disposable foodware include items designed for one use only such as cups, bowls, plates, “clamshell” style hinged to-go containers, and accessory items like straws, utensils, cup lids, cup sleeves, and other throw-away items.
