Thanks for your support as we kick off our fundraising relationship with Troutdale Tavern!
Troutdale Tavern is transitioning to a 100%-for-charity business for the benefit of local Evergreen organizations.
The Hurricanes are one of 18 local organizations who will benefit in three ways:
- We will have the option/opportunity to host two Tuesday night fundraising nights per year. We provide the waitstaff, invite guests, and collect 70% of the food sales and 100% of the tips. In our first such evening we raised over $4,500.00!
- We will have the option/opportunity to provide the dinner waitstaff and collect 100% of the tips once per month.
- At the end of each year, Troutdale Tavern will donate 5% of the annual profit directly to the Hurricanes.
In order to participate in this opportunity for the next 5 years, we've made a one-time commitment to selling $15,000 worth of Troutdale Tavern gift cards. We are not making a donation or buying in, we are simply pre-purchasing food and drinks in the form of gift cards.
The gift cards cover everything but tax and tip, and will be good any time except during Tuesday night fundraising events.
For our organization this amounts to approximately $150.00 spent at Troutdale Tavern per family. We are asking each family to consider Troutdale Tavern for some of their summer dining opportunities, and help us out by purchasing gift cards here! To encourage families to participate, we are offering $100.00 gift cards for a discounted price of $90.00!
