Members Circles are sub-communities within YWLC formed by members who share mutual interests or shared characteristics. The circle shall have a minimum of 5 active members (with current membership status) and organize periodic meet-ups, workshops and other activities relevant to the members.

Submit your proposal for a new Members Circle by filling in the details below. Please note that approval of the members circle will take between 4 to 6 weeks.

On approval of the member circle, a representative from the membership subcommittee (“Circle Representative”) shall be assigned to each members’ circle to provide support to the circle where needed in relation to: (i) verification of circle members’ YWLC membership status, (ii) be the conduit for the circle to access the broader organization’s resources e.g. external partners, marketing channels, mentors and sponsorship for events (if necessary).

The circle should be launched within a month from approval, including:
a. Marketing materials to be prepared and shared on YWLC’s internal FB group and / or newsletter
b. Registration form which should minimally include registrants’ names, YWLC-registered email addresses and phone numbers to be created
c. Founding members to create either a Whatsapp or Telegram chat to serve as a primary communication channel for the group. The Circle Representative must be added to the chat as an administrator to help verify circle members’ membership status.
d. The first meet-up between circle members to be arranged

Proposed Activities for the Circle. Please indicate where YWLC support will be required. Note: Minimum of 1 meet up of at least 5 members once a quarter *

e.g. Bimonthly virtual meetups to introduce new circle members. Prior to each meet-up, members will propose and vote on a topic for discussion. We require support from YWLC to invite YWLC mentors to join in the meet-up once a quarter to sharing sessions on topics such as “Navigating global career moves”, “Taking and returning from career break for motherhood”
