We do require that interested volunteers are 18 years or older. Please fill out the form below and submit it. If you have any difficulty, prefer a paper application, or have general questions about the different opportunities or shift times available, please call Dani Crutcher at (608)826-8022, or email at dcrutcher@ccmadison.org.

We are open 7 days a week 365 days a year from 8-5. Generally, we have about 140 volunteer shifts available each week. During COVID, we are staffing our six primary roles: Kitchen (AM and PM shifts), AM & PM Laundry, AM & PM Shower Attendant, Computer Lab/Float (AM and PM Shifts), AM & PM Welcome Des, and AM & PM Shuttle Driver. Shift availability varies from day to day.

The next step to volunteering at The Beacon is to attend an orientation. You should hear back from Dani within 5 days of your application, with additional details and a signup for orientation dates.
