We’re mapping publicly accessible plantings of native species in Ottawa, and we’d love to include yours! We’re currently mapping 1) pollinator gardens, 2) Indigenous practices gardens, 3) rain gardens, and 4) tiny forests. If you’re involved with any one of these, please complete the form below.
We’re hoping this map highlights efforts to increase biodiversity initiatives across our city—and, because these plantings must be publicly accessible, will encourage people to visit, enjoy, and learn from them.
If you have any questions or comments or would like to share photos of your garden, please email us: biodiversity@ecologyottawa.ca.
