The Plano Percussion Middle School Summer Camp is a total percussion camp featuring sessions in fundamental techniques, keyboard percussion, orchestral instruments, ethnic and world percussion, and steel drums. All participants perform in every aspect of the camp making this an incredibly wonderful experience for your middle school percussionist. The students present an end-of-camp concert featuring all aspects of the camp. The concert is from 4-5p on Friday, the last day of the camp.

The Plano Percussion Middle School Summer Camp is held from 1 - 5p on June 10-14, 2024 at Plano Senior High School in the Doyle Dean Performing Arts Center, 2200 Independence Pkwy, Plano, TX 75075

Participation is offered to rising 7th and 8th grade percussionists from accredited DFW Metroplex middle schools. All percussionists benefit from our program regardless of aptitude and proficiency. If you middle school percussionist is excited about developing their percussion skills and musical interests, then this is the camp!

Registration deadline is June 2, 2024

Please have your percussionist bring their stick bag with their assortment of implements and a 3-ring binder to hold their camp music. Tuition for the Plano Percussion Middle School Camp is $125 with checks made out to: Plano Band Boosters. Tuition is due at camp registration at 1p of the first day of camp. Every activity is supervised and attended by a PISD employee and area percussion specialists on contract with the Plano Percussion Middle School Summer Camp. All staff have been certified and cleared to teach by the State of Texas and the Plano Independent School District.
