2022 Rural Caucus Federal Endorsement Questionnaire
Dear Minnesota DFL Congressional Candidate,

The DFL Rural Caucus invites you to seek our endorsement for the 2022 election.  The Rural Caucus Endorsement Committee, comprised of members from each Congressional District throughout Greater Minnesota, has developed a two-part endorsement process.

• Part 1 involves the completion of this questionnaire, which reflects key issues that have been prioritized by the Rural Caucus as critical to Greater Minnesota families, our rural communities, small businesses, and family farmers.  When submitting the questionnaire, we also ask you to submit campaign literature, and/or a campaign website link or background information.  Note that these questionnaire responses will be shared with the Rural Caucus Executive Committee and members when making endorsement decisions.  The Rural Caucus will review questionnaire responses and determine whether to consider a candidate interview.  We may opt to waive the interview for incumbents with a  voting record.  Please keep your questionnaire answers limited to what you plan to do if elected, (or will do if re-elected) to address the issue.

• Part 2 involves a brief endorsement interview of about 30 minutes with Rural Caucus Endorsement Committee leaders and members.  A recommendation for endorsement may be advanced to the Rural Caucus Executive Committee. You’ll be notified of our decision as soon as possible.  

The DFL Rural Caucus welcomes the opportunity to coordinate our public announcement of endorsement of your race with you as much as possible via traditional media and social media.  We’d like to highlight the issues and points most important to Greater Minnesota voters when casting their ballots in your race.
