St. Xavier’s College, XRCVC -Viviana extension is happy to announce an offline workshop at its Viviana centre, Thane. The theme is 'Use of E-Speak Marathi with NVDA’. The Workshop is supported by SBI Foundation – Centre of Excellence (COE) for PwDs.

The workshop will include Comprehension using Marathi text with NVDA E-speak, Introduction to Marathi Keyboard, Typing words & sentence etc.

This will help to visually impaired persons who In-service have to work with Marathi or any other person keen to learn Marathi typing using Espeak.

Eligibility: participants should have good knowledge of NVDA and Marathi language.
Criteria: Persons with print disabilities such as blind and low vision. Participant should be a screen reader user.

Limited seats are available for the session.

Time: 11.00 am to 5.00 pm.
Venue: XRCVC-Viviana Extension, Viviana Mall West Court, 1st Floor, Next to Jupiter Hospital, Eastern Express Highway, Thane West, Maharashtra 400606
(Directions: The room is located on the first floor of the mall’s West Court. To reach the room, open the door between the ‘Chumbak’ and ‘Max’ stores, take the passageway (around 60 feet long) towards the emergency exit and walk past the washroom. The XRCVC-Viviana Extension is located at the end of the passageway near the emergency exit.)

Important note
1. The registration of the workshop will close at 2.00 pm. On Thursday 9th June 2022.
2. Confirmation email will be sent on 10th June 2022, Friday to the registered participants only.
3. Participants are requested to use their personal earphones/headphones during the session.
4. Participants will have to make their own meal arrangements.
5. Covid protocol will have to be followed
