UIL Solo and Ensemble will be virtual this year.
You will have to video record yourself playing (with accompaniment for most solos), and these recordings will likely be due early the week of February 15th, FYI. Judging will happen February 20th.

This Google Form: PLEASE, fill out ONE Google form PER ENTRY. (no multiple entries for the same ensemble.)
Payment Slip: Due to Covid regulations, please turn in ONE PAYMENT SLIP per PERSON.

Solos are $15 and Ensembles are $15 per person.

This year, you have the following options:
1. If your piece is in SMARTMUSIC, you may use the accompaniment part from that program.
2. If you have access to a recording of the accompaniment part to play along with, that works for me.
2. If your piece is NOT in smartmusic, and you do not have a recording, you must hire an accompanist to make you a recording. (or if it is VERY VERY EASY, you can ask Hanlon if she can record it for you.)
3. If you have a private teacher who will be getting an accompanist for you, you could also record your entire performance with an accompanist (like, in the same room), but please follow Covid protocols if you do this. If you are getting an accompanist through your private teacher, I do not know what the cost to you will be. Also, please wait for all of the RULES to come out regarding recordings. There are many UIL guidelines that will need to be followed with regards to recordings.
Please do NOT turn in any accompanist payments to me.
If using one of the accompanists we recommend, you will pay your accompanist directly (mailed check), and they will make a recording for you. ($40)
You will have the ability to edit this form.
After the deadline (January 8th), you will not be able to edit the form, and if you need to make a change, you will need to see a director.
No changes can be made after January 20th for any reason.
If you need assistance filling out this form, ask your private teacher or a director to help you.
