 Dear SLUSD Families,

Please rate your preference for the learning formats being proposed by SLUSD as models to be used during the 2020-2021 school year. Please know that all models may need to be implemented at some point during the year. How we actually reopen is highly dependent on what the county public health guidelines and State of California guidelines will be at the time of reopening. We are asking you to identify the model in which you would most like to BEGIN the school year.

BLENDED MODEL   In-Person (at school site 2 days) + Distance learning (at home 3 days): Social distancing between students will be expected and encouraged by only having half of the student population on campus at one time. Half of the students come to campus  M, TH and the other half comes T, F. On Wednesdays, all students are off-campus. During off-campus days, students engage in distance learning. It is possible that in this model, some students stay home 100% due to parent preference/health needs so we will plan for that. It is also possible that some students come daily in small cohort sizes due to their specialized needs. Rate your preference for this scenario. *
