WAIVER, RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT

In consideration of the participation by the undersigned in equine activities on the premises of Rising Hope Stables, or any public or private grounds (“Center”), the undersigned releases Center, and Laura Stutesman (“Trainer”), from any and all claims that the undersigned could assert against Center or Trainer, and the undersigned knowingly waives the right to bring any action against Center, it’s employees and agents, or Trainer for any injury or death arising out of riding, viewing, training, driving, grooming, or riding as a passenger upon any equine on Center’s premises except to the extent that ORS 30.691 prohibits the limitation of liability. The undersigned agrees to hold the Trainer, the Center and Center’s employees and agents harmless from any and all such claims and actions, including the cost of defending any such claims and actions.

In consideration of the participation by the undersigned in equine activities on the premises of Center, the undersigned releases Center and Trainer, and the undersigned knowingly waives the right to bring any action against Center or Trainer, for injuries or death suffered by the undersigned on Center’s premises due to any condition or occurrence on Center’s premises, except to the extent that such liability cannot be limited under ORS 30.691 or ORS 30.693. The undersigned agrees to hold Center and Trainer and Center’s employees and agents harmless from all such claims, including the cost of defending such claims.

Riders under 18 must wear a safety helmet

No dogs allowed

Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times

Note: If participant is a minor, this waiver, release and hold harmless agreement must be signed by the parent or guardian of such minor.
