Supporting Transgender Students Survey

Thank you for your interest in participating in our study. We are graduate students at Queens College’s School Psychology Program conducting a study to fulfill part of our degree requirements. The purpose of our study is to explore the perceived competence of school psychologists in supporting transgender students in the school setting. You are being asked to complete this survey because you are a practicing school psychologist in the United States. If you are not currently practicing school psychology, please resign at this time.

The survey should take around 15 minutes to complete and you can terminate the survey at any time. While participants’ responses remain anonymous, there is a potential risk of inadvertently compromising confidentiality by taking part in the survey. The study aims to explore the benefits, such as understanding the perceived competence of school psychologists when working with transgender students, and assessing the adequacy of participants' training experiences in preparing school psychologists for working with transgender students during their graduate school tenure.

Feel free to address any questions or concerns to Andrew Farrell (andy.j.farrell@icloud.com) and Juli Cole (julicolee@gmail.com)
