PSU Food Pantry Volunteer Interest Form
Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Portland State University Food Pantry! 

Please read about  the different volunteer roles we have, and choose which best fits you. 

PSA: We will need volunteers ranging from 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM 

Different Volunteer Commitments: 

Volunteers: For those of you who are looking to commit to a full term of volunteering with the expectation of at least one hour a week. You will be added to the schedule and asked to give notice if you will miss your shift. 

On “Call”: For those of you who can’t commit every week but are open to coming in when we have a day we might need some additional help! You will be added to a list that the pantry will refer to when we need some extra help. We will reach out to you via your preferred contact method (call, text, email) and you can either come in or not based on availability that day! 

One-time: Best for those who can’t commit to every week but don’t want to be on a contact list. On days we are the most busy, such as Wednesday mornings, you can pop in and help without having to commit to a whole semester!

Once you have submitted this form, the Manager of Operations and Training will contact you in 1 - 5 days with more information and to set up an orientation time

We are open Monday through Friday. Volunteering starts at 8 am and ends at 5:30 pm. 

Example: Monday 8am - 2pm, Thursday 11am - 1pm, Friday 1pm - 2pm
