Re-Entry Plan
21st Century Public Academy's re-entry plan is posted on our website here: http://21stcenturypa.com/wp/?p=7002.  Please understand that our schoolday schedule will change on April 5th, and will include live instruction all day from 8:15-3:40 every day Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday.  Wednesdays school will include live instruction all day from 8:15-3:00.  This is true of both in-person AND remote students.
Does your student plan on attending in person or remotely for the remainder of the year, starting on April 5th?  Please note, this decision is not binding.  If your student chooses to remain remote and wants to attend in person in the future, they may do so.  Students who choose to attend in person and want to instead go remote at a later date may do so as well. *
If my student attends school in person, I understand that they will be required to wear a clean mask that covers their mouth and nose at all times while at school, with the only exception being when they are eating or drinking from a water bottle.  If my student refuses to wear a mask properly, I understand that they will have to be sent home. *
If my student attends school in person, I understand that if they have ANY of the following symptoms within 24 hours of attending school they cannot attend in person: fever over 100, chills, sweating, frequent dry cough, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, sore throat, runny nose, congestion, diarrhea, vomiting, headache, or loss of taste/smell. *
If my student attends school in person, I understand that if they or a staff member shows any of the above symptoms, they will be required to leave the school building immediately.  If a student or staff member tests positive for COVID-19, there is a possibility they will be required to quarantine for 10 days, during which time they will be required to return to remote-learning. *
I understand that if my student or anyone in our household tests positive for COVID-19, it is my responsibility to inform my student's homeroom teacher immediately. *
