"Dynamic, aggressive soccer... I want to learn more"
“It seems like you want dynamic and aggressive soccer. I want to learn more.”

Park Jin-seop (28, Jeonbuk Hyundai) revealed his impressions of meeting Jurgen Klinsmann, the coach of the Korean national soccer team, in person.

Jeonbuk Hyundai defeated Gwangju FC 2-0 in the 37th round of Hana One Q K League 1 2023 held at Jeonju World Cup Stadium at 2 p.m. on the 25th.

As a result, Jeonbuk regained 4th place with 57 points (16 wins, 9 draws, 12 losses). The gap with 3rd place Gwangju (58 points) is now only 1 point. The rankings of both teams will not be known until the final 38 rounds.

Jeonbuk did not waver despite the crisis and achieved victory. In the 18th minute of the first half, Ahn Hyeon-beom scored the first goal with a header, and Song Min-gyu scored a lucky additional goal in extra time of the first half. Jeonbuk continued to block Gwangju's organized attacks well and achieved a scoreless victory.

Park Jin-seop, who played as a defensive midfielder, also contributed by playing full-time. He smiled and said, "Many fans came to visit us. I wanted to reward them with a victory, and I'm glad I was able to do so."

Park Jin-seop is famous as the protagonist of ‘Human Victory.’ He overcame ups and downs and even wore the Taegeuk symbol on his chest, a dream of all soccer players.

Park Jin-seop, who was a striker during his college days, began his career as a player for Daejeon KORAIL, a national league (now K3 League) business team, in 2017. He moved to K League 2 Ansan Greeners the following year, where he changed his position to defensive midfielder and reached a turning point in his life.

From then on it was solid. Park Jin-seop played well at Daejeon Hana Citizen and was selected as one of the best 11 in K-League 2. Last year, he joined Jeonbuk and entered the K-League 1 stage. He was immediately selected as one of the best 11 players, and as a wild card, he even won a gold medal at the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games.

His A match debut was also successful. In the game against Singapore held on the 16th, Park Jin-seop replaced Park Yong-woo in the 45th minute of the second half and played on the pitch for about 4 minutes including extra time.
