TrueNorth Community Services is committed to making sure that every student has a great start to school each fall by providing the resources kids need to achieve success in the classroom. TrueNorth is providing backpacks filled with age-appropriate supplies to qualifying families. Children must be enrolled in a Newaygo County school in PreK through 12th grades for the 2024-2025 academic year or they must reside in Newaygo County in fall of 2024.

Depending on each student's age, backpacks may include items such as folders, pencils, pens, markers, crayons, notebooks, pencil boxes, erasers, highlighters, glue, scissors, and more! Once your application has been processed, we will send you an approval or denial letter informing you of your application status and details about where and when to pick up your bags.
