Following the launch of ‘Our FoodFutures: a community food strategy for North Lancashire’, the next couple of years will be crucial for unlocking opportunities and for building on momentum from the strategy development process.
To support FoodFutures working groups and the wider sustainable food network in North Lancashire in taking some of this work forward, we are running an open call for micro grant proposals for work that is strategic to unlocking the 2030 vision - as identified in the Our Food Futures strategy document. Projects and organizations that have applied before can apply again, and proposals do not need to be for a new project. This fund seeks to enable and can support ongoing work.
We will be openly distributing a total of £8000 in the 2022-2023 financial year.
To apply for a micro grant of up to £3000, please fill out the application form below by the 3rd December 2022.
If a new idea, we expect there to be evidence of need and/or for a co-design approach to be embedded into the project - as per FoodFutures values to foster active inclusion in decision making and collaborative working.
If paying for time, this should be aligned with LESS’s rate of £15.75 an hour.
Proposals will be reviewed and agreed via consent by a small working group (at least 3 members) drawn from FoodFutures heart group in early December 2022.
