The 2023 Simulated Emergency Test is scheduled for Saturday morning, October 7, 2023. Nationally, the SET is sponsored by ARRL, however, regionally, the SET is being planned and sponsored by the Kansas City Metropolitan Emergency Coordinators Council (MECC).  Leavenworth County ARES is doing a double-header exercise: Conducting a Lost Person with Radio scenario while providing mutual aid to the rest of the metropolitan area who have a Complex Coordinated Terrorist Attack (CCTA) scenario that is responding to simulated attacks on power infrastructure.  We will need as many volunteers and interested Radio Amateurs as possible.  As a core member, you are being asked to express your availability and desired participation in the exercise.  This survey will close on October 11, 2023.
