To participate in the MCFCP community partners need to meet the following guidelines:

Have a participating farmers' market that is accessible to program participants from the community partner organization

Have a primary contact person at their organization who will communicate with DFMB regarding the program

Please let us know if your community organization is able to meet the following program expectations: *

Attend a pre-season orientation (in person or online)

Select and enroll participants to participate in the 14 week program

Provide orientation for participants (materials will be provided)

Distribute weekly currency to participants

Keep lines of communication open with participants throughout the program

Submit weekly update online indicating the number of sheets of currency distributed that week

Participate in mid-season check-in

Complete end of season survey

Is there a farmers' market in your area that you already have a relationship with?

Community partners will be offered an honorarium for their time spent administering the program. Each partner is eligible to receive an honorarium totalling a maximum of 3% the value of currency distributed to participants that season. The minimum payment is $350. You may also choose to convert those funds into extra currency for program participants.
