Few words in our everyday lives strike more fear than
"Artificial Intelligence" (or AI for short). For some, AI is a
valuable tool that helps work be more efficient. For others, AI is feared as a
replacement for positions in the workforce. In this session, we'll explore the
myths, the truths, the benefits, and the challenges of working with AI in
non-profit organizations.
Hosted by SHARE Iowa and the Community Foundation for Western Iowa for Do Good Days, join Dr. AnnMarie Marlier from Business Ethics Alliance as she explores AI for nonprofits.
Dr.
AnnMarie Marlier serves as the Executive Director of the Business Ethics
Alliance. Before coming to the Alliance, she spent most of her professional
career in higher education administration as an Academic Dean, Director of
Institutional Effectiveness, and Director of Student Activities, among other
positions. AnnMarie personally developed and directed several academic programs
and taught most levels of courses ranging from pre-GED to doctoral. When
not serving in higher education roles, AnnMarie worked to develop and lead
curricula and training for corporate, not-for-profit, and consulting
organizations. She also owned two businesses and worked as a Manager for
the Disney Stores.
