TWB Translation marathon 2019
It’s International Translation Day on Monday 30th September, and TWB has decided to celebrate it in style! We are holding a Translation Marathon (or #TWBTranslatathon!) for translators working in English to Arabic, French, and Spanish!
The translation marathon will start on Saturday 28th September at 10:00 AM CEST and will finish on Monday 7th October at 2:00 AM CEST.

Any tasks count to your total contribution. For the marathon purposes only, revision and tests review tasks will count half of their volume. Please remember that the quality of the work we submit is of paramount importance for us. Work that doesn’t meet our minimum quality standards will be disqualified.

Please use the same email address you have in your Kato Platform profile, or we won't be able to find you! If you don't have a Kato Platform profile, please register here: https://trommons.org/

If you have any questions please email us at translators@translatorswithoutborders.org
Remember to share your contribution on social media using the hashtags #LanguageMatters and #TWBTranslatathon

Are you planning to work on translation tests?
The words you produce in the testing center will also count for the marathon. If you are planning to take our verification test, or if you are a senior reviewer and have tests to evaluate, please let us know your ProZ ID so we can track your contribution on that platform, too! The ProZ ID is a series of digits (usually 6 or 7) in the URL to your ProZ profile. For example, in this profile https://www.proz.com/profile/1685977 the ProZ ID is 1685977.
How would you like your full name (first and last) to appear?
At the end of the marathon, we would like to publish the names of the most prolific translators. If you consent to be featured, please please let us know how you would like your name to appear.
A copy of your responses will be emailed to the address you provided.
