Greenville County Schools is committed to providing the necessary support to ensure the success of your child. We are excited to offer an opportunity for your student to continue their learning beyond the school year. Based on a review of your child’s current academic performance and/or attendance, he/she is not demonstrating grade-level proficiency and/or has accumulated a high number of absences this year. As a result, your student required to attend the Summer Bridge program. Any child who does not successfully complete the program may be required to have a parent meeting with Administration to determine placement for next year.
We are excited to have your child attend the Summer Bridge program at League Academy. The Summer Bridge program is a FREE four-week summer program that will provide your child with the opportunity to receive small group, intensive instruction in the areas of reading, writing, and math. Students are required to attend face-to-face, and there is no virtual option for this program.
The Summer Bridge program will operate from 8:30 am - 12:30 pm Monday through Thursday for four weeks in the summer. The building will be open beginning at 7:30am. Bus transportation, breakfast, and lunch will be provided at no cost.
Program dates are as follows:
Week 1: June 19 - June 22
Week 2: June 26- June 29
No program the week of July 5 - 8
Week 3: July 10 - 13
Week 4: July 17 - 20
