The ASA Communications Working Group was established in 2022 as part of an initiative by the ASA Council to broaden and augment the means by which the ASA membership communicates, in particular with respect to leveraging technology where relevant.

The current main task of this WG is to establish usage guidelines for the persistent ASA Slack space which has been prepared in the lead-up to the 2023 ASM/AGM. Currently, the Comms WG maintains and administers the Slack space on behalf of the ASA Council.

If you are interested to take part in this WG, please fill in this form. We are especially interested in forming a WG membership that reflects the diversity of voices and perspectives within the ASA community, and encourage people across intersectional aspects such as gender/ethnicity/seniority/location/experience/expertise to consider joining the WG.
