Thank you for your interest in being a volunteer at Rainbow Cafe! Being a volunteer allows us to open our doors every Friday night to LGBT+ youth in Southern Illinois. Without the hard work from our volunteers, the Rainbow Café would not be able to flourish.

As a volunteer, you work with the manager and fellow volunteers to supervise youth and ensure a safe and supportive environment on Friday nights. To be an active volunteer on our team, you must commit to volunteering twice per quarter. We have plenty of volunteer opportunities on different days of the week.

All applicants must be 19 years or older, pass a DCFS background check, and be passionate about supporting LGBT+ youth.
