Enrolment form: Non-Chinese Speaking Parent Ambassdor Scheme 2022/23

Objectives:

1.To enhance the awareness of NCS parents on the importance of their children’s learning and mastery of Chinese language in further studies and career development.

2. To enhance NCS parents’ understanding of Hong Kong education system and introduce the multiple pathways for careers or further studies available for NCS students;

3. To provide opportunities for NCS parents to have more interactions with Chinese-speaking peers in the neighbourhood and enhance their awareness on the educational support services offered in their community.

Quota: 

30 NCS parent ambassadors from different districts in Hong Kong


Who can join?

  • Have Children studying in kindergartens, primary or secondary schools
  • Able to communicate in either English or Chinese, and be proficient in one of the spoken languages, i.e. Bahasa Indonesia, Hindi, Nepali, Tagalog, Thai, Urdu and Punjabi (Indian)

What to do?

  • Attend 1 training and 1 workshop
  • Participate in 5 visits/ meeting/ gathering in June or July 2023
  • Attend award ceremony in August 2023
