The Friends of Elmfield Park would like to know your views on plans for improving the park.
Cheltenham Borough Council have suggested the changes in the plan below, based on improvements people from the area have suggested previously.

. Are you happy with the proposed paths on the plan (marked  ), are they in the right place? These are intended to improve access for pushchairs, bikes, wheelchairs or mobility scooters. If you use any of these, please let us know of any issues with getting through entrances as well.

Are you happy with the suggestion of a bench with planters for flowers, which would need to be maintained by local residents and the soon to be formed "Friends of Elmfield Park" group? The bench could be dedicated to a member of the community.

Is there anything else you would like to see added to the plan? We have had suggestions of more exercise equipment and lighting.
What should the "Friends" group be called? It will also be involved in the Rest Garden - community garden on the Tewkesbury Road, next to American Golf and the Sue Ryder shop. We will also continue to do litter picks in the area.Thoughts so far include "Friends of Elmfield Park and Community Garden", "Friends of St Peter's Green Spaces". Other suggestions welcome
