Mixed-Race/Multiracial Identity Survey
This is a survey for sociological research about mixed race identity for a dissertation project. If is meant only for those that self-identify as "mixed" or multiracial.

While this survey will be used to understand the multiracial experience across the lifespan and in different contexts, it also seeks to give people who self-identify as mixed or multiracial an opportunity to describe themselves and their experiences.

At the end of the survey, there will be a place for you to check a box regarding interest in being a part of a larger study. This includes one-on-one interviews over zoom or even an in-person follow along in your "real life."

If you have any questions, concerns, or feedback, please feel free to reach out via email at ianwaller@ucsb.edu

This survey is part of a larger study. One part is one-on-one interviews that take place on zoom.

Would you be willing to be interviewed as a part of the larger study?

(Saying yes does not commit you to anything).
*
How do you think geographic location affects the way you think about your racial identity? *
In your own words, if comfortable, please tell us your racial heritage.

In other words, what race does your mother, your father and your grandparents (if you know) identify with.

Please include how you self-identify in terms of your racial identity?
*
How many racial identities do you identify with? *
Are you open to being contacted for a sit down  (in person or over zoom) interview?

(Saying yes does not commit you to anything. We will simply follow up with a short email).
*
As part of the larger study, I am seeking key participants from different cities to shadow as they go about their everyday life. Is this something you would be open to?

(Saying yes does not commit you to anything).
