An intense high school structured practice with skill work, conditioning, and offense and defensive concepts
This clinic is also a high-intensity, fundamental experience similar to the college style practice format that will introduce players to next level of practice. Players will:
• Go over standard offensive and defensive concepts in a practice format
• Execute fundamental drills and breakdown aspects of the game
Coach Harris is currently in his 7th year as a Head High School Varsity Boys Basketball coach. He was also previously a head AAU Elite Coach for 8 years with Team Richmond and has helped place over 100 players in D1, D2 and D3 programs. As an “on-the-court” coach with USA Basketball 16U in 2019, he understands the process and how to help players succeed.

Breaking down all aspects of the guard position
This clinic is designed to work on all guard skills; point and shooting guards - on and off the ball work to include:
• Defensive concepts with leadership qualities that will give insight on what it takes to be a solid guard at all levels
• Fast breaks, ball screen and running lanes will be points of emphasis at this clinic
Coach Harris has 8 years college experience as a former D-3 Head Men’s Basketball Coach at Vassar College and 3 years as an assistant at the University of Richmond, Morgan State University, and Virginia Military Institute.
