BMS 2020-2021 EXPLORATORY CLASS SELECTIONS FOR RISING 7th & 8th

IMPORTANT NOTES
(1)  There is NO GUARANTEE that you will get your top choice electives but we will try.
(2)  BMS may assign classes to balance class numbers this includes classes like Chorus, Piano and Guitar for example.
(3) All classes are semester long except BAND, CHORUS & RESOURCE which are year long.
(4)  PE/HEALTH is a REQUIRED class for all students (documented medical condition is only reason exemption may be considered).
(5) If a student requests BAND or CHORUS, he/she will be expected to remain in the class for the entire year.  You may NOT choose both classes.  A student cannot take BAND and Piano or Guitar at the same time.
(6) ACADEMIC SUPPORT class is assigned based on end of the year grades (D or below in core academic class), teacher recommendations, test scores and summer school attendance.
(7)  MOSIER & INGRAM (Resource) classes are assigned based on IEPs and will take priority over a student's class requests.
