Plant It Forward Apprenticeship Application
PIF is excited to initiate its first Apprenticeship Program! Through hands-on farm work, farmer mentorship, training sessions, and short courses, PIF’s Apprenticeship Program will provide each apprentice with the necessary business and farming skills to launch their own agricultural enterprise. Five apprentices will be selected for the 2024/2025 program.

The apprentice must be:

  • 18 years or older to apply
  • Of immigrant background (preference former refugee)
  • Able to secure reliable transportation 
  • Able to commit to a 1 year program (March 2024 - February 2025)
  • Able to commit to 20-30 hours per week
  • Available during the daytime
  • Physically able to perform the work of the trade
  • Authorized to work in the United States
