International summer school "Managing risks and risk assessment at work"
Summer schools for VSB and UMinho students on occupational risk assessment will include workshops and on-site practical trainings in real workplaces. Students will have the opportunity to work on current HSE topics in international multicultural teams.

13th to 17th September, 2021, Ostrava
Each of the summer schools will be implemented separately, however they are complementary to each other.
Target groups
The Summer school is designed for university students of OSH related study programmes / study programmes with curricular units related to OSH from the VSB and The University of Minho (UMinho).
The attendees may either apply for both summer schools (organized by VSB and UMinho), or they can choose only of them.

Why to take part?
The participants will development of the following competence:
- Deepen knowledge in the area of (occupational) risk management.
- Practise risk assessment at workplace.
- Share knowledge and build network among students.
- Develop cultural awareness and open-mindedness.

- Experience interactive and collaborative learning.
