School districts must continue to report positive cases of COVID-19 to Suffolk County Department of Health.  According to the CDC, people who are fully vaccinated do not need to quarantine after contact with someone who has COVID-19 unless they have symptoms.  However, fully vaccinated people should get tested 3-5 days after their exposure, even if they do not have symptoms.

We are collecting vaccination status information on a voluntary basis, for the sole purpose of assisting in contact tracing.  Only administrators will have access to this information.  It will be necessary to provide documentation of vaccination to the school nurse if your child is identified as a close contact.
